AXIOM ZERO UL

The Axiom Zero UL topquilt is a lightweight backpacking quilt designed for both ground sleeping and hammock camping. During development, we focused on achieving the ideal balance between low weight and thermal efficiency.

The upper section features vertical baffles, while the lower section uses horizontal baffles to improve down distribution, especially with lower fill volumes. This construction helps retain warmth while reducing overall weight and packed size.

The quilt is made from lightweight and durable 10D DWR coated nylon fabric with water repellent properties. The closed footbox further improves insulation, especially in colder conditions. The ETS (Elastic Tensioning  System) system runs along the sides of the quilt, allowing it to contour closer to the body whether used on the ground or in a hammock. This minimizes heat loss and improves overall comfort.

The quilt can be easily attached to a sleeping pad using the included elastic straps, while the edges can also be clipped together when needed.

The Axiom is now available with two insulation options:

• 800 CUIN untreated goose down
  Ideal for dry and well ventilated environments.
• 800 CUIN hydrophobic DWR treated goose down
  PFC free treated down that:
  • absorbs moisture more slowly
  • dries faster
  • retains warmth better in damp conditions

This version is especially recommended for humid environments, condensation prone conditions, or extended trips where drying gear regularly is not possible.

The comfort rating of the quilt is approximately 0 °C, although individual comfort may vary depending on factors such as clothing, hydration, fatigue, and metabolism.
