but when the deep cold sets in, proper insulation for your head becomes essential.
This balaclava is filled with hydrophobic goose down, which handles damp, humid conditions much better than regular down.
It keeps insulating even when exposed to moisture, ideal for shelterless camping or when condensation from your breath builds up around your face.
It fits comfortably up to a 65 cm head circumference.
There are baffles between the outer and inner shells (no stitched-through seams), which ensures consistent insulation.
With the elastic drawcord tightened, even your eyes are shielded, leaving only your nose and mouth exposed.
